City Of Trees Marathon and Half Marathon 2018 The City Of Trees Marathon has both a Half Marathon and a Full Marathon on Sunday October 14th, 2018. The Marathon starts at 8:00am and the Half Marathon starts at 9:00am. The race start and finish will be at Parkcenter Park, on Parkcenter Blvd. Boise Idaho 83706 All races are non-refundable, non-transferable. The City Of Trees Marathon Association Inc has the right to refuse entry to anyone for any reason. You must have a bib number to participate, and there or are no exchanges or refunds available. The Packet Pick-up and Expo will be Saturday 10/13/2018 from 9am to 3pm at the Host Hotel. The Spring Hill Suites, 424 E. Parkcenter Blvd. Boise Idaho 83706. The City Of Trees Marathon events are USATF certified courses, and the marathon is a Boston Marathon Qualifier. Chips will be used to assure accurate timing, you must wear a chip to be timed in the events. Motherstubber Gnarly Trail Run fun and gnarly trail run through some of the sweetest sage, lava rock, and canyon floor terrain in the West! The Gnarly 1/2 marathon, Gnarly 10K, and Gnarly 5K routes will start you down inside the Snake River Canyon, running routes through Auger Falls Park along scenic dirt and gravel trails with stunning views of the river. All routes finish at Centennial Park, inside the canyon and are gnarly due to longer distances than the usual. See where Auger Falls got its name as you run through trails once closed to visitors. This first-time event is a great opportunity to experience something truly unique--a challenging trail run in a spectacular Idaho setting. All participants will get cool swag including a one-of-a-kind bottle opener medal, goodie bag, and a first annual Motherstubber unique gift. This event is cup-less. Bring your own water bottle/pack to fill up at water stations. Parking will all be at Dick’s Sporting Goods and participants will be bussed to the start line. Select
Cycle Magic Valley MaVTEC is proud to present Cycle Magic Valley; Southern Idaho’s premier cycling event. Routes for all abilities with fully stocked food/aid stops. The family friendly 12 mile route is a led ride that takes riders to the canyon’s Meander Point. The 30 mile route heads out west, north of Filer. The more challenging metric century route takes you down into beautiful Melon Valley by Buhl. And the full century route takes riders north of Filer, into Melon Valley, down to Hagerman and back. Payette Lake Run 2018 Spend Labor Day in McCall and run one of the three beautiful courses. 30K, 8.6 mile, or 5K. The 30k, or 18.6 mile run starts and finishes at the boat docks, this takes you through the town of McCall and all the way around the lake for a complete loop. The 8.6 mile run is a half way around trip, buses take you to the start, and then you finish at the same place the other runs finish. The 5K run is a very scenic run next to the golf course until you get to the lake and the finish line. You may still register at the packet pick up Saturday if you failed to register on-line. Rush Creek Stampede Rush Creek Stampede is a 5K and ½ Marathon through the magnificent Rush Creek Valley. As you race the Rush Creek Loop, you will enjoy breathtaking views of Rush Creek Peak and hear Rush Creek rippling happily along near by. The course is surrounded by lush rolling meadows, freshly worked farmland and trees that will be changing into their glorious fall colors. Sprinkled among the fall colors are enormous pine trees that fill the air with an aroma of freshness. After you finish racing, nourish yourself with delicious homemade soups, breads, and cookies.
