City Of Trees Marathon and Half Marathon 2017 The City Of Trees Marathon has both a Half Marathon and a Full Marathon on Sunday October 8th, 2017. The Marathon starts at 8:00am and the Half Marathon starts at 9:00am. The race start and finish will be at Parkcenter Park, on Parkcenter Blvd. Boise Idaho 83706 All races are non-refundable, non-transferable. The City Of Trees Marathon Association Inc has the right to refuse entry to anyone for any reason. You must have a bib number to participate, and there or are no exchanges or refunds available. The Packet Pick-up and Expo will be Saturday 10/07/2017 from 9am to 3pm at the Host Hotel. The Spring Hill Suites, 424 E. Parkcenter Blvd. Boise Idaho 83706. The City Of Trees Marathon events are USATF certified courses, and the marathon is a Boston Marathon Qualifier. Chips will be used to assure accurate timing, you must wear a chip to be timed in the events. Payette Lake Run 2017 Spend Labor Day in McCall and run one of the three beautiful courses. 30K, 8.6 mile, or 5K. The 30k, or 18.6 mile run starts and finishes at the boat docks, this takes you through the town of McCall and all the way around the lake for a complete loop. The 8.6 mile run is a half way around trip, buses take you to the start, and then you finish at the same place the other runs finish. The 5K run is a very scenic run next to the golf course until you get to the lake and the finish line. You may still register at the packet pick up Saturday if you failed to register on-line. Fit For Life Half Marathon 2017 Home Plate Finish!!! Flat and fast 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon courses, starting and finishing at The Boise Hawks Memorial Stadium, utilizing the shade of Greenbelt. Runs are also considered ideal training runs for the Fall half marathon and marathon distances. Perfect training for the City Of Trees Marathon Events. All races are non-refundable, non-transferable. Falls To Falls Run/Walk 2017 Walk or run 5.2 miles from the Idaho Power Park at Twin Falls Falls in the scenic Snake River Canyon to Dierke’s Lake, located just above Shoshone Falls. Or participate in a Partner 10.5 mile relay or Solo 10.5 mile run. Buses will transport all 5.2 mile participants from Dierke’s Lake to Idaho Power Park at Twin Falls Falls 30 minutes prior to gun time. The last walker bus will leave at 8:00 am and the last runner bus will leave at 9:00 am. All participants are expected to be on time. The 10.5 mile solo and partner running event will begin at Dierke's Lake promptly at 8:30 am. The Kids run will be 1 mile and held at Dierke's Lake. Select
Spirit of the Magic Valley Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k Walk/Run 2017 The Magic Valley will hold its annual Spirit of Magic Valley Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k Fun Run and Walk. Participants can choose one of 6 events that include a half marathon run or walk, a 10K or 5k run or walk. The half-marathon racer’s course will utilize three popular trails through Rock Creek Canyon, the Canyon Rim and the CSI Fitness Trail. The 10k and 5k participants will utilize the Rock Creek Canyon trail. All proceeds benefit the Twin Falls Community Foundation Trail Enhancement fund. Great Pumpkin 5K Run and Walk Participants will run/walk a flat, paved course and trail route through the scenic College of Southern Idaho campus. Start and finish will be at the CSI Expo Center this year. Youth will participate in a timed one mile race around the college. All participants will receive a long sleeve dry fit shirt. After the race enjoy some warm chili and corn bread sponsored by the Culinary Arts Program. Select
Salmon Marathon 2017 Salmon Marathon route Finish: 3,947' Total Gain 555' Start: 4,876' Total Loss 1,484' Change -929' Gain up Sandy Creek (Mile 6.9) 219' Gain up Bohannon Creek (Mile 13.3) 298' The primarily gravel course begins at the Historic one room Tendoy school near the birth place of Sacajawea. You will be greeted by posters from the children still attending. The course is scenic and primarily a slow incline towards the small town of Salmon, Idaho where you will run through Main Street to the finish line long the banks of the famous Salmon River. The half marathon starts near Baker, Idaho and follows the same gravel road as the marathon runners. There is one slight uphill section (Up and back) for both races (Bohannon Creek) where you proceed straight towards the gorgeous Bitterroot Range of the Continental divide. Past runners report that the incline is not difficult and that the return run back down is not hard on the knees. Both races finish at Town Square Park on the banks Select
Claypeak Run/Walk This event is a 5K run that peaks at the hill called Claypeak above Payette, Idaho. It has a vertical rise of about 400 feet. It peaks in a great view over looking the Western Treasure Valley and contains about a mile of fairly steep dirt road. It is a very challenging 5k run, or a great morning walk with a beautiful view. It is part of Payette Apple Blossom Festival. Event starts at 8:30 AM at the McCain Middle School in Payette on May 13th. It is a family event and is a Run/Walk for the entire family. Preregister is a minimum $25 tax deductible donation or $30 the day of the race. All Money raised goes to support the cross on Clay Peak. If you just want to participate with no shirt, participant package, or timing, than it is free. this event has grown each year and is an all around great event. After the event you will have plenty of time to attend the parade, car show, craft show, and carnival in downtown Payette. Select
Run for Dunn This is the 6th annual Run for Dunn Fun Run/Walk. All participants will receive a Run for Dunn t-shirt and a post-race burger/hot dog. Packet pick-up will be the day of the race from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Julia Davis Shelter #1. Proceeds from the run go toward the Amy Rae-Anne Dunn - Get It Dunn Fund at the ICF Foundation and the Amy Dunn #14 Endowment Scholarship Fund at Boise State University.
